JOB FAIR - Sunday, October 28, 2007 11a-2p Join us at the Crotched Mountain Base Lodge for annual job fair, always the last Sunday of October. Seasonal positions are available in the following departments: Rentals - Immediate opening for boot/binding mechanics - Seasonal rental staff Lifts - Lift Mechanic/Electrician Must be familiar with fixed grip line- & drive equipment, diesel & gas engine trouble shooting, low voltage circuits. Riblet Ski Lifts experience helpful. - Lift Operators Familiar with start-up and shut-down procedures, emergency hookup procedures, maintenance of lift logs, able to supervise & train small crew in loading and unloading ski lifts. Min age 18 - Lift Attendants Pleasant and outgoing personality required. Experience helpful but not necessary, will train, min age 17 Grooming - Operators (mostly night operation) Level one experience with operating construction and/or farm equipment, will train Level two min of two years experience on PB and/or Bombardier hydrostatic equipment Level three Min of 8 years experience on PB and/or Bombardier hydrostatic equipment, some mechanical & repair experience on same Snowmaking - Snowmaking Shift Supervisors (mostly night operation) Min two years experience with stationary & mobile fan type snowmaking, able to schedule & direct small crew, able to troubleshoot electrical & mechanical problems, proven skills with snowmobile operation - Snowmakers (mostly night operation) Good physical condition a must, experience with stationary & mobile fan type snowmaking helpful, electrical & mechanical skills helpful, proven skills with snowmobile operation Maintenance - General Maintenance Experience with electrical & mechanical building maintenance, small engine experience, welding skills - Ski Lift Maintenance Min of 4 years of experience with fixed grip chairlifts (Hall, Riblet, Ctec), mechanical & low voltage systems, must be able to climb towers, familiar with all safety procedures. - Equipment Maintenance Experience with construction machinery, farm equipment, diesel engies, small engines, welding & fabricating skills necessary Parking - Parking Supervisor Experience with event parking, able to schedule and supervise small crew, customer relations - Parking Attendants Must be neat & clean, able to direct people good with customer relations. Ski Patrol -Professional Patrol (weekdays) Must be NSP and/or EMT certified Food & Beverage - Cashiers Pleasant personality, good math skills, methodical and accurate with handling money. - Food Prep Must be clean, neat and fast - Fry Cooks Experience helpful, will train - Pizza Makers Experience with dough preparation & NY Style pizza making - Bus People Must be clean, neat and fast, - Bar Tenders Experienced SnowSports - Ski School Supervisors Min Level II certification, experience with on-hill training, ski class formation, customer relations etc. - Ski Instructors Level I, II & III certification but also looking for good skiers with pleasant personality to be trained to become associate level instructors - Boarding Instructors Sowboard certification helpful, but will train. - Childrens Ski School Instructors Experience with childrens ski school helpful, must be neat, pleasant and patient, will train. - Race Coaches Experienced, certified Ticket Sales -Ticket Sales Cashiers Pleasant personality, good math skills, methodical and accurate with handling money. - Head Cashiers Pleasant personality, good math skills, methodical and accurate with handling money, customer/employee relations Group Sales - Group Sales Coordinator Pleasant personality, excellent telephone skills & customer relations - Goup Sales Persons Pleasant personality, good math skills, methodical and accurate with handling money, customer relations telephone skills --- To apply, VISIT the JOB FAIR on October 28, 11a-2p.
