Next Snow Search 2007
 SUNDAY JANUARY 14, 2007!!Overview The 2007 Sports Illustrated For Kids Next Snow Search is a series of ski and snowboard competitions in the U.S. and Canada. Boys and girls age 9-13, both skiers and snowboarders all compete in the one class. The goal is to discover the best kids on snow. Crotched Mountain will be hosting a Next Snow Search qualifier event on January 14, 2007. The winner of the Crotched Mountain qualifier event will represent Crotched Mountain at the Next Snow Search Finals at Killington, VT in MARCH. The best 25 athletes who will be named to the “Sports Illustrated For Kids Next Snow Team,” an honorary recognition. Want to compete? Crotched Mountain Next Snow Event Registration begins at 9:00am in the base lodge. The competition begins at 11:00am. There is no entry fee and the event is open to all kids between the ages of 9-13. This is a multi-discipline event, covering freestyle, racing, park and personality. Do you have what it takes? Event format is free-form ... all contestants and judges will ski/ride around the mountain as a group, doing different tasks on each run. |
