Join the fun on the slopes at Crotched Mountain for the 5th annual Spring Carnival event! Live music, BBQ on the deck, awesome prizes and much more... Costume Crazy Cardboard Sled Derby Saturday 03/22 11:00am - 1:00pm (subject to change) - Registration begins at 9:00am FREE LIFT TICKET when registering in costume before 10:30am. (Costume competition) Calling all cardboard maestros! Got Cardboard? Do something with it for a great cause: hurling yourself down a hill in a fancy box! Rules: - Sleds may be built with duct tape, glue and cardboard only - no mechanical fasteners - no wood or metal or fiberglass - all sleds subject to inspection and disqualification prior to the race - COSTUME CONTEST - extra points awarded for being in costume during the competition. "Slush Cup" Pond Skimming *NOW with 25% more slush! Saturday 03/22 2:00pm - 4:00pm - Registration 9a-10:30a The slush pond is back, and this year it's bigger and wetter than ever! (that's the plan anyway) Try to stay dry while proving skis and snowboards make for great watersports! Awards Ceremony Awards Ceremony and victory party will be held on the patio of the lodge at 4:00 pm (weather permitting). GET BUSY! ... time to build that sled and bust out the bathing suit!! |
