Come join Crotched Mountain in celebrating spring skiing with the timeless tradition of
throwing yourself down the mountain in a sled made of cardboard and duct tape.
Maybe try your hand at skimming across the fridged waters of Lake Crotched.
Whatever you enjoy, Crotched will have something for the whole family during our annual Spring Carnival!

Sled Race Rules and Regulations: Sled may be made out of Cardboard and Duct Tape Only! - Any sled made with other materials will be disqualified... NO EXCEPTIONS. - No metal fastners, rope, wood or any other kind of hard objects will be permitted. - All sled will be subject to inspection prior to running of race course. - There are no limits to how many people or how big the sled can be...remember you have to drag it up the hill. - Extra points are awarded for creativity and costumes! |

Slush Cup Rules and Regulations: Ski and Snowboards only allowed in pond. - No ski poles will be allowed. Sorry skiers, you have to go pole-less. - Style points are awarded. Costumes, tricks and wipe-outs will all be tallied. - Registration will be held in the morning during sled registraion in the main lobby. |

Fall - 10pts Big Fall - 20pts Costume - 15pts Splash Crowd - 30pts |
Go in Switch - 20pts Make it across switch - 50 pts walk out after fall - 10pts |
Event Details:
- Sledrace and Slush Cup registration beginning at 8:30am
- Sled race starts around 10:30am
- Slush cup will begin around 1:30pm (depending on sled race)
- Awards cxeremony will take place on the deck of the ATC building 1/2 hour after pond skim is completed
