Video Park 2008 Information When? Friday, January 4, 2008 - 9pm Where? Crotched Mountain Park Why? Something to do ... Who? Film production groups, pro skiers/riders, spectators and cool people. What? An Egan Entertainment Production, a session for filming the sickest night park footage in the east How? We really do it for the burritos. BACKGROUND In November of 2006, Kev. C (park & pipe guru and Egan Entertainment Events Director) and the crew from Crotched where shooting around ideas while drinking some burritos at the Boston Snowsports Expo. Among the ideas: night events, park features and unique video footage ideas. A few burritos later, we put the ideas together and the Video Park concept was born. Last year, here's how it all went down: Kev C. went home from Boston and started calling everyone he could think of. The Crotched Crew went back and started working on the park. At the first Midnight Madness event of the season (06-07 season), the burritos were unleashed as Kev C. marched into crotched like a pied park piper. They came... filmers, photographers, pros. What they came for was the season's first 55' gap jump in the east. Footage from the first video park emerged on the web, tv and good movies like Wanderland from Meatheads. Video Park Video (footage from last season) Later the next year, Kev C. and the Crotched Crew were once again bouncing ideas while drinking burritos in Boston... Welcome to the 2nd Video Park. DETAILS The Video Park will take place during Crotched's Midnight Madness from 9pm-3am. Park features are built for exhibition purposes and are open to approved riders. Some features may be available to the general public during filming. Everyone is welcome - lift ticket required. Please respect the park crew, filming crews, your fellow peers and the riders. Basically, don't act stupid. ** All invited & approved riders are asked to donate an item for YES, an organization that engages urban kids to experience the outdoors.
